On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
