Industrial sewing operator — Morehouse Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
