The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
