The role involves cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Rotating shifts. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
