Gang bricklayer wanted in Crawford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Crawford County, Wisconsin. You will work on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
