Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop The role involves fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash.
