CO2 welder wanted in Woodford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Woodford County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
