Great opportunity: site carpenter (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Gaston County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
