Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
