Body shop technician — Cayuga County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a body shop technician in Cayuga County, New York. The job is at a busy body shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes The role involves treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray.
