We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Haskell County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
