Immediate opening: we are hiring a car service technician in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a tyre and exhaust shop. Day to day you will replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; carry out suspension and steering repairs; replace clutch plates and gearbox components; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; read fault codes and clear them after the repair. What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
