Join our team: protective coatings painter (Arkansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Jefferson County, Arkansas. You will work in a paint and spray workshop. The role involves mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; sand and fill walls before applying primer; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
