Vertical transportation technician wanted in Howard County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Howard County, Missouri. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time, day shift.
