Cnc production machinist — Haines Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Haines Borough, Alaska. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
