Great opportunity: rebar fixer (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in City of Leicester, England. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. £2,250 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
