Crane rigger • Perth and Kinross, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
