We are recruiting: lift installation engineer (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Adams County, Illinois. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Part-time with flexible hours.
