Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Granville County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Granville County, North Carolina. You will work at a food processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Full-time with occasional weekends.
