Site safety steward — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Johnson County, Indiana. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
