Marble fixer • Vermilion County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fixer in Vermilion County, Illinois. You will be based at a marble and granite workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades You should have: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Own hand tools an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
