Elevator technician wanted in Rock Island County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Rock Island County, Illinois. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
