Immediate opening: sand plant operator (Enugu State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Udenu, Enugu State. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦190,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
