Concrete worker • York County, South Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in York County, South Carolina. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
