GMAW welder — Twiggs County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Twiggs County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
