Excavator operator • Crawford County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Crawford County, Illinois. The job is at a stone quarry. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
