We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Athens County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
