Vertical transportation technician • Surry County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Surry County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
