Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Whiteside County, Illinois. Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
