Cement mason • Oluyole, Oyo State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Oluyole, Oyo State. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
