Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Russell County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
