Crane rigger wanted in Bethel Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Bethel Census Area, Alaska. You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
