Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Mercer County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits The role involves: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
