Lift erector • Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
