Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways.
