Lifting rigger wanted in Lincoln County

The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
