Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Park County, Wyoming. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
