Now hiring: visual inspection operator (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Livingston County, Illinois. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. Day to day you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
