Crawler crane operator wanted in Saint Landry Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
