You will replace cracked or broken window panes; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. You should have: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves 6+ years on the tools preferred.
