Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Pierce County, Nebraska. You will work in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 4+ years on the tools preferred.
