Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Eilean Siar, Scotland. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Meals and transport allowance provided.
