Halal butcher wanted in Portage County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Portage County, Ohio. The role involves: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
