Great opportunity: painter and decorator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Essex County, New York. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Your main tasks: • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller Ideal candidate: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
