Metal caster wanted in Ford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Ford County, Kansas. You will be based on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
