Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Greene County, New York. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
