Production operative • Sitka City and Borough, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production operative in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety On a typical shift you will set up and start the machine as per the job card; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
