Shuttering carpenter — Milton Keynes

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Milton Keynes, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Day to day you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations.
