Power float operator • San Juan County, New Mexico

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in San Juan County, New Mexico. The job is at a precast concrete yard. You will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
