Steel fixing chargehand — Etinan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Etinan, Akwa Ibom State. Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
